If you recently bought the new iPhone 11 Pro, you definitely need to be aware of this new found information. According to digital security blog Krebs on Security, they found out that the phone is still collecting your location data even when you block your phone from doing so. The blogger reported it to Apple and received the response that the collection of data is expected. This is something we should all be aware of considering the pop-up on our phones in the Apple's Location Services privacy policy tells users they can disable Location Services at any time. The blog notes:
"Apple disclosed that this behavior is tied to the inclusion of a short-range technology that lets iPhone 11 users share files locally with other nearby phones that support this feature, and that a future version of its mobile operating system will allow users to disable it."
