An Internal Affairs investigation by the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office has found no PBSO employee violated any policy regarding the housing of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The report concludes that "no evidence exists to support any member of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office violated any law, policy or rule and regulation which related to the care and control and treatment" of the millionaire money manager.
It states Epstein was not given any preferential treatment while he was on work release, as has been alleged, and there was insufficient evidence to support allegations that Epstein engaged in sexual relations with young women at that time in 2008 and 2009.
A similar investigation by the FDLE reached the same conclusion in May.
Epstein would later face more serious federal charges for years of alleged sex abuse of underage girls and died of an apparent suicide in a Manhattan jail cell.
Meanwhile, Epstein confidante and one-time girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell is expected to go on trial next week in New York. She is accused of procuring victims for Epstein to abuse.
Jury selection has been underway ahead of her trial.
